Consultation
Consultation Services
Consultation provides a framework for using different psychological models and theories, it is a problem solving approach which acknowledges the different skills and expertise of the professionals and parents/carers that are involved with the child/young person or adult.

Our aim
The aim of the consultation is to help the person seeking help/advice to explore possibilities and identify a range of actions/solutions that are most suitable for them. Psychological action plans are then developed which reflect the discussions that took place during the consultation. The impact/success of the agreed actions are then determined via a plan, do, review cycle.
The aim of a psychological consultation is to provide the consultee with increased skills and confidence to be able to tackle an area that has been either professionally or personally troubling to them, ensuring that they tackle these “stubborn” scenarios in a supportive and protective environment.
